Refund Easy as pie!

I have used turbo tax for many years. I thought it was easy the first year. Well, it gets easier and easier. It almost does the filing for you. Definitely recommend it to others

confusing and exhausting

Cannot follow Turbo Tax steps literally --it can lead to mistakes. Not all 1099Rs read the same or mean the same. Box 15 needs added assistance to address these scenarios - some boxes read Local Tax withheld, others read, State Taxable Amount--two different impacts to taxes.
Repetitive questions require cycling through the same questions every time you make changes. Needs to have bookmarks and notes to remind you which parts to quickly jump back to later.

Paying less than last year

I use Turbo tax every year. for some reason IRS got my $1265.00 I owed for 2012, but couldn't find my efile. I printed them out a hard copy and sent it to them this week. I would never have known they couldn't find it if they hadn't sent me a letter. I will continue to use Turbo tax. I will just check to make sure IRS receives it by efile
What's great about it: saved $400.00 over last year
What's not so great: sales tax held me up from filing early.Uncle Sam to blame
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

loved using turbo tax this year. Recently divorced and filing by myself for the first time in 25 years was daunting. Turbo tax made it easy.

2013 TurboTax

I have been using this program for many years and each year my labor in doing my tax return becomes shorter. As a retired person I need a tax program that proceeds in a clear and logical fashion which this product does. This year from the time I opened the program until the time I electronically filed was three hours. I really like having the ability to store a pdf file of my documents which saves the bother of printing out the over 20 pages of my return. I also appreciate that the filing fee is no longer charged. Excellent product - don't change the present format.
What's great about it: Simple, clear, rational

Tax filing is an evil all working people must face. TurboTax makes it as simple as possible for the ordinary person. I have used it for several years with confidence.
What's great about it: Question and Answer more detailed than a tax consultant.
What's not so great: There is no way to make tax fun!
