Counting on TurboTax

Even though I've religiously used TurboTax for more years than I can remember, I can still remember the many years I did my taxes from the 1040A days through painful reading of IRS Pubs, etc. And am I ever grateful for the organized approach to taxes TurboTax provides and the feedback regarding accuracy and risks. The increased values for charitable deductions using It's Deductible also provides an even greater incentive to voluntarily share our small disposable income.
What's great about it: Clear , organized guidance
What's not so great: Canned Q&A seldom provides the Ah Ha! Answer Sought

Finally Figured Out I Didn't Have To Pay The State

Been using TurboTax for more years than I can remember and have been happy with it's ease of use. Even had a 2nd look one year and they said it did everything they would have. NC has something called the Bailey Settlement for retirement income. Every year I got to that place in the return question comes up again, it was never really clear that I should claim it? Well this year it actually led me to the right answers and I shouldn't have been paying taxes on my retired income. Filed amendments for the last three years and getting a nice check when they pay it, but lost out on 12 years I can't get back. TurboTax, I'll keep using it because I really like it's ease.
What's great about it: Finally gave me the right answers
What's not so great: Paid about 15 years worth of state taxes I didn't need to...

Have used Turbo Tax many times and keeps getting easier and easier to use.
What's great about it: Easy to use, downloading investment infomation was a snap

Long term user of TurboTax

There's a reason that I've been using TurboTax since it way back when it used to be called MacinTax. I'm a happy and loyal customer.
What's great about it: Less headache than writing out long form, more control than using a preparer.
What's not so great: No problems

Quick and Easy

I don't know how much it costs for a CPA to prepare your taxes, but it sure is more comfortable being able to do them in your own home.
What's great about it: Did my taxes in an afternoon
What's not so great: Couldn't figure out where to put car sales tax

Fast and Easy!

I recommend Turbo Tax for everyone. It's better than any other option.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything, step-by-step. Easy to use, and trustworthy.
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy as Pie!

I have used TurboTax for 6 years now, and it is the easiest way to do it. I used to go thru all the booklets and tables, NO MORE!! I used to go to an accountant, and he was using TurboTax!!! I let Turbo Tax do it all for me, plus they show me deductions I would have missed. You feel very safe and you just e-file from your computer. I love it!!
What's great about it: One question per page, very simple.
