what else would you use?

I've used Turbo tax for years, couldn't think of doing my taxes without it. I love the confidence that comes with knowing my taxes are done correctly.
What's great about it: Fast, easy, accurate

Form 2106

Form 2106 line 9, column B does not calculate correctly for airline pilots. We need to be able to multiply by 80% (per the IRS!). Then if I override the data, I am not allowed to e-file.
Fix your program to where it follows the IRS guidance in this block so airline folks can get the correct number.

I just have one complaint I'd like to tell you. I've been using TurboTax for quite a few years now and at first you did have my info to down load from previous year. But for past 3 years you didn't have it. You said I was using different PC and I wasn't. It could be my fault but you always end your completed form by saying next year we will have your starting inf and for three years in a row ,you haven't. If there is some secret to get this I wish You'd let me know.

I have bought Turbo tax for 10 plus years. So disappointing that the federal electronic filing did not work. This was a terrible product this year!

Need to Fix the Print Problem

I have used TurboTax for years and this is the first time I have had a significant problem. When going through the process to file a return, if I select file by mail it won't let me get past the Efile section. I had done a draft before this problem occurred and had no problem printing so this glitch must have come in an update. Intuit's answer was to click on file in upper left corner. While one can do it that way you still can't get to the ending of the program.
What's great about it: Like the software as it is easy to use
What's not so great: Software has printing problem if you want to file by mail - Intuit needs to fix

Turbo Tax is FIve Star!

I have used Turbo Tax for the last several years and have been very satisfied with its ease of use. Directions are easy to follow. I especially like the charitable deduction section. It is easy to enter each deduction. I feel that all the bases are covered.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Thorough.
What's not so great: Would like to have price included for state taxres.

I loved to use Turbotax, but not this year!

I used to like Turbotax, but I will think about it next year. It seems outrageous that before you could discount from your return your e filing, but today they charge you either way...not cool!
What's great about it: quick and doen at home
What's not so great: charging way too much for efile and other states filing.

Still Works Great

One thing that could be improved: As you enter specific data under the Income or Deductions sub-sections, when done the program should return to the last place you were before en goes back to the top and I have to scroll down to figure out where I was last at.
What's great about it: Covers just about everything
What's not so great: Pretty much like it all
