I have used TurboTax for the past several years; there is no other way I would file my returns.
What's great about it: every step of each area was complete

Trouble

I used Turbo last year and tried to again this year from online email. Once it upgrades you it won't let you go back if it isn't needed. Sure they give you a code to use but it doesn't load so you can't use it. They pass you around from one dept to another. I had to buy a Deluxe disc and start all over.
What's great about it: I can do it myself
What's not so great: Can't get answers from reps that don't know the difference between Windows & MAC

I have used TT since the DOS days I have never felt the urge to move to any other program. Although I am nearly as old as dirt, I find TT easy to navigate, if not always to understand its intricate details. I like it.
What's great about it: It keeps me focused. My filing has been more than 30 pages long for many years. So far I have done alright.

I have used to turbo tax for the last few years and i have never had a complaint. This program is super fast and easy. Dont know how u could improve it.
What's great about it: I love the step by step review of every part of my return

excellent software, downloaded last years return which saved lots of re-entering data, easy to use, only 2 problems - overlooked where to enter HSA contribution multiple times, couldn't locate errors (it would be great if the program directed you to the error and explained the problem)
What's great about it: very detailed, easy to use
What's not so great: couldn't easily locate errors
