Coldn't be easier

Turbo Tax was easy to install. Updated state sales tax forms as soon as available from IRS. Extremely easy to follow instructions to walk you through what could be a nightmare without it.
What's great about it: simple walk thru to answer all questions for maximum return
What's not so great: Don't really have any!!

An Bad Experience Made Better By TurboTax

I spent most of my time organizing my receipts and acknowledgements of contributions. Once that was done, entering the data in the forms provided by TurboTax was a snap. My receipts and statements were sent to my the last week of January. Working only moderately hard, TurboTax and I finished my return by mid-February
What's great about it: I avoided lots of "filling in the blanks" by TurboTax's use of last year's return.
What's not so great: I realy didn't ask enough questions, depending, rather, on sketchy information from those issuing my 1099 forms

I would have to say Turbo Tax has gotten better and easier to use over the years.
What's great about it: Easy to follow along - takes data from priors years - love to upload data from financial institutions and W-2s
What's not so great: Some of the questioning a little funky

overall the time spent preparing the taxes was shorter than previous years
What's great about it: was able to import my w2 form from ADP this year
What's not so great: should have been able to load charities as in previous years
