Stumped for a while on Tax-Exempt interest entry!

I spent "needless" time trying to enter my Tax-Exempt interest. The amount could only be entered in the "Taxable income" section of the program. I tried over and over to enter the amount into "Tax-Exempt interest" section but was unable. It was not at all clear how to handle this entry situation, however, it did finally work out ok and the amount was listed correctly. I found this out only after reviewing my completed 2013 tax forms before filing. Hope this minor confusion gets cleared-up and fixed for 2014!
What's great about it: Otherwise everything else in program went very well.
What's not so great: Need to clarify correct entry for Line 8b (Tax-Exempt interest)

What's great about it: Easy to use, accurately transferred info from 2012 returns

Overall, Turbo Tax works very well.
What's great about it: Easily leads one through the process.
What's not so great: SHould be able to skip itemization if you know before hand that that is not what you will do.

Done in less than 60 minutes

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years. It is very easy software to use. I just answer the questions honestly. I have never been audited. I almost always get a refund.
What's great about it: This is easier than hauling your tax receipts to a tax consultant.
What's not so great: You still have to pay less than a tax preparation service for it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Bank Account Info

When entering interest expense for my rental property it didn't automatically pull from the statements that were uploaded from Wells Fargo. It requested me to input the interest expense and when I was going through the review it then recognized the interest on the statements and it asked me to select where to link the interest. Upon doing this, the system did not recognize that the amount had already been manually input creating a duplicate entry. It could be user error, but I felt like I proceeded the same way as I did for the primary residence, but it recognized that the amount was manually input for the primary residence and did not duplicate.
What's great about it: Getting info from online Banking
What's not so great: Rental Expense didn't automatically pull from uploaded Bank statements

Tax preparation and filing

Doing and filing the tax returns is quick and easy. But, we had to wait to file CA taxes because the software or the forms to complete it were not ready during the first part of January 2014.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: late with CA return forms
