Excellent tax preparation software

I've used turbotax for over a decade and it has steadily been getting better every year, to the point that I no longer have to spend hours of research trying to answer correctly the questions on the wizards.
Having said that I think some of the help topics can be more clear. For example, front load all requirements for taking a deduction so that no time is wasted reading an entire section before deciding to start the section wizard.

I also like having the 100% accuracy guarantee. It gives my wife and I peace of mind.
What's great about it: Easy to use, thougrough and intelligent
What's not so great: Needs more clarifying information at times
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is an excellent program that takes into account all the ways to receive a true accounting of income and allows for the maximum deductions.
What's great about it: the ease of going through the return

Easy to use

I'm happy with TurboTax and have been for many years. It's easy to use. Self-explanatory. Once in a while there is a correction on the forms themselves that is not thoroughly explained. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend TurboTax to anyone.
What's great about it: Always help available

Easy and flexible

I've been using TurboTax for years with great assurance and excellent results. Covers most individual situations thouroughly and easily with reasonable questions and simple option choices. Good online references for more complicated situations, and friendly suport if necessary.
What's great about it: Step-by-step guide was helpful, timely updates simple to download online

Once you use TT you'll never go back

I have used TurboTax from the first release until today and will in the future.
I used it in German, the UK and now in the USA. It never failed me and the only time I was audited, was the year I didn't use TurboTax. The tax accountant messed it up and even ofter the audit I entered the data into TurboTax and found the error the accountant made. It cost me quite a bit of money to get it all straightened out.
The program is easy to use and if you want to get really fancy and try things out you can start multiple returns and play around with different scenarios.
I do the simple "take me thtough there return" and I am done within a few hours, if that. It takes longer to get my papers ready than the enter the data.

Finally Finshed 2014 Taxes

No way to say, no income from nursing as individual had terminal disease, ALS. Turbo Tax kept going back to the schedule C questions. There was no 1099.
What's great about it: Easy followed insructions
What's not so great: kept wanting indo for sch C when no service as RN was done in 2913 as Cherrill had termminal ALS.

Quick and Simple

It's so easy to just answer the questions and fill in the blocks....no trying to interpret the tax codes, rules, and regulations just trying to figure out what to put in a particular block, and no filling out endless worksheets just to find out that, sure enough, you don't get that deduction.
