I recommend Turbo Tax for anyone who wants to do their own taxes
What's great about it: Easy and understandable
What's not so great: Sometimes hard to just go to sections you want without going through all prompts
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Love it and recommend it all the time. It would be helpful to have a glossary or quick reference for common terms. I am a seasoned banker and had some questions on certain terms I had to Google to remind myself what they meant. I use the get help in the application but some items didn't have enough explanations. Also read some of the IRS code to be more acquainted with the section of the regulation. However had to look up the code on my own. I know you have to be careful not to give legal advice but notating general sections of code would be helpful for quicker reference. In all a fantastic product and wouldn't use anyone else.
What's great about it: Pulling in last years info and step by step walk thru of completing taxes
What's not so great: Glossary of common terms; if there is one need quicker tool to find it.

Found the allocation between farm business, Schedule F, and Farm rental, 4835, to be a bit confusing. Glad I had my last year's return to look back to. Started to enter it in the Schedule E section then realized 4835 came later in the interview.

I've used it for several years now.
If I had one suggestion to make, I would make a change that looks at your AGI, and quickly tells you if you should try to report detailed costs/expenditures, etc...or if your income level is such that you will not be allowed to take the deduction or credit anyway.
What's great about it: Easy to use, help links to explain topics, checks for errors!!
What's not so great: Could use a better explanation up front on whether you should use detailed expenses and payments, or go with a standard.

Filing electronically: I don't have to mail anything (Form W-2, 1099 Int, 1099 Div, etc)?
What's great about it: easy to understand questions take you through the entire process.

I having trouble e filing my federal return you software won't allow me to e file until i do a FL state return. I don't need to file a Florida state return.
What's not so great: I only need to file federal but i kept getting told i need to file a state return!
