My husband and I have used Turbo Tax for years. Each year, it gets better and better and easier to use. Our taxes were done in no time this year!
What's great about it: Turbo Tax seemed more streamlined and easier to use.
What's not so great: There are no cons this year!

Really Turbo 2013

I've been using Turbo Tax for over 10 ten years and find it gets better every year, with all the improvements and changes its made to make it more user-friendly and comprehensible to even those who are new to the program.
What's great about it: Very user-friendly. Turbo Tax really does walk you through the process.

A returnee to Turbotax. However, took us longer than anticipated. Hopefully the following year will be faster since we started the process this year. The only hick-up we experienced was towards the very end, submitting our returns via e-file. The program would not continue and prompted us to get the Turbotax updates from the menu. We followed the instruction, but the computer just kept on sending back messages that we could not continue unless the program was updated. We wished there was a live chat with a representative from Turbotax, even though it was the weekend.
What's great about it: Easy to follow.
What's not so great: Unable to e-file due to program updates not available.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used Turbo Tax for quite a few years now and this is the first time that I remember being required to go back and add the state taxes that I paid for a new car purchase. If I did not know that was a valid entry that does give me an added deduction, I would have paid more taxes unnecessarily.
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: did not ask if I purchased a new car and paid state taxes

Taxes Done Right!

TurboTax is a great tool. It loads quickly and is easy to use. The program uses clear and concise english to ask the questions that guide you through your tax return. I would recommend TurboTax to anyone filing a simple or very complex return.
What's great about it: Easy to load. Easy to use.
What's not so great: No Problems.

Turbotax has been my tax preparer of choice for years, and every year seems to get even simpler. Way to go Intuit for making such an "intuitive" product!
What's great about it: Turbotax makes tax time so much easier
What's not so great: If they can only figure out how to do it totally automatically :)

free michigan e-file

So purchasing the federal deluxe edition I am supposed to receive one free state e-filing however I was charged for my Michigan e-file. Can this be explained??
