I have been filing my taxes with Turbo Tax for over 10 years. It's easy to do. Wouldn't do it any other way.

On a few form they looked OK on screen but when printed they had what looked like a smear. Reprinted a few times same thing had to exit and restart program then printed OK only once. When I tried to print for records happen again different form lucky it was for records could not fix it second time. It might be the new wireless printer will try reprinting on friends PC later.

Excellent and Easy!

I have been a T Tax user for 13 years and this is the first time I am using the CD. Usually I just use the site. This year, I decided to use both since the CD includes filing the Federal taxes so we just paid to file the state.
GREAT!
I am really impressed with the improvement through the years and I have an understanding of everything being asked. They have a great Q&A and I can get help via chat if needed.
EXCELLENT! THANKS for the great products!
What's great about it: Asks all of the questions and fills out the sheets, saves all of the data
What's not so great: NONE
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Simplified Filing

Turbo Tax & It's Deductible is a quick and easy way of filing your taxes. I have used it for years and can't think of anything that I haven't been able to understand with all of the guidelines that you've made available for using.
What's great about it: Quick & easy simplified directions

Mostly fine, a few quirks

I had no trouble entering most information. My husband got a 1099-misc for reimbursement for a class. I saw several other people had similar questions about 1099 forms, but didn't find very helpful answers. One said that Turbotax would fix this in one of the forms that you could see once you finished. I think there should have been a clearer choice so that I wouldn't have to go to a help site to find out that there would be another form to look for. Also, it wouldn't file my return electronically until I quit and restarted. Advice on the help site told me to reinstall. That would have been a whole lot more work. I miss the days when they had live people to answer questions.
What's great about it: transfer of information
What's not so great: unclear directions on 1099 Misc

It is hard to continue paying to get the program when banks and credit unions offer free versions...

I have used TuboTax for more years than I care to remember. It gets a little better each year at walking me through some of the tough spots. My taxes are not a complicated as the were a few years ago, but it beats trying to run down all the correct forms. That, by it's self is worth the price.
What's great about it: Keep making improvements that make life easier
What's not so great: I have one K1 that comes in a non-standard form that is always a problem to figure out
