Passive Loss Error

TurboTax requires a rental house be rented for more than 15 days on Schedule E Worksheet, so there's no way enter a carry-over loss from renting a home in a prior year once the rental house has been sold or converted back to a primary residence.
And TurboTax has the "feature" that you can't file on-line if it thinks there is an error on a form, so for the third year I'll have to wait longer for my refund.
What's great about it: Works great for most situations
What's not so great: Still has an error on the Passive Loss Form

Turbotax user for life

Best program is more user friendly. Have been using Turbo tax since 1990's. Gets better every year. Have been using Turbo Tax Deluxe and Home and Business for years.
What's great about it: User Friendly with plenty of info
What's not so great: Nothing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I liked last years menu much better

Always fast and accurate!

I have used Turbo Tax for years. One year I tried a Microsoft product and it was a hassle so I switched back to Turbo Tax and will never try another product again. I love how it imports information from my last years return including any carry overs.
It takes me longer to gather all the information I need than it does to complete my taxes. I am always confident that i am getting the maximum return and that it is totally accurate.
This coming year I hope to have everything integragted with Quicken to make things go even faster.
What's great about it: It always helps me find deductions I might miss.

overall I love turbo tax, it makes the job of tax preparation so much easier.
What's great about it: Easy to follow along and enter the necessary infomation
What's not so great: some of the explanations of forms or what they cover is not clear.

Always Check TT Calculations!

I have used TT for years and expect to continue. I have never been audited or asked to correct a return. This year, I find a calculation error when adding Box 19 local witholding for multiple W-2s.
What's great about it: Year-to-year info transfer, easy to change entries.
What's not so great: Forms not correct for Local Income Tax
