Very easy to use

I love how easy all the questions make the software user friendly. I HATED that the boxes to enter in information where so light I couldn't see them. This often led to having to review the same pages.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: The fill in boxes where too light and i missed several per page.

Incapable of correcting efiling State Returproblem

In personal information, program told me using "E." and "A." was inproper, so I overrode the system and used "E" and "A". Then, when I tried to efile the state return, it told me I could not file it because the initials needed to be the same as the Federal Return and I had to include the periods (even though I did not have the periods in it). I changed the return to put the periods back in and then it told me I couldn't file it with periods. Bottom line, I cancelled the efiling charge and mailed it because it would not let me do what it wanted me to do. Ridiculous.

Charging for state!!!

Last year the deluxe came with state! Now we have to shell out an additional 40 bucks?!? I will not be using Turbo Tax next year unless you go back to free state addition. Which is a shame. I have been using Turbo Tax for about ten years now.
What's great about it: Quick and easy
What's not so great: Cost

ALL of my previous data files were erased by one of your bug filled updates. I had to retype ALL my info this year.

Turbo tax 2013 fraught with problems and glitches

I tried both MAC and PC using Deluxe with State and I had problems being able to e-file my MA State return and being able to update the programs. Many glitches. I will not purchase Turbo Tax again as I have had it. You lost a customer of many years

im sure that after using it a few times it is a lot easier. being that this is my 1st time using it we felt as if we didn't get the full refund. Then when we did our state income taxes we had to pay more for some reason. we filled as a joint married. all and all not to pleased and we will be going with someone else next year and have them check to make sure that everything was correct.
What's not so great: unexpected costs, not the most user friendly
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Everything was short and clear. This was my first year filing and I felt I was able to handle it while getting a great refund.
What's great about it: Took a few hours and I was done
What's not so great: Not all forms were released at the time.
