I formerly used Schweppes Diet Tonic water as a refreshing summer-time drink. While it is still good, Soda Stream's Diet Tonic water is far better. My only issue is that local stores that carry other Soda Stream products, do not carry this item. I wonder why?

Even my wife, who loves sugar and hates artificial sweeteners, loves this tonic. To my knowledge, this is the only diet tonic that uses sucralose. Most diet tonics (Schwepps, Canada Dry, etc.) use sacchaine, which most agree has a nasty aftertaste. Even the few diet tonics that are sweetened with Nutrasweet still have a bit of an aftertaste. Sucralose may be a bit oversweet, but it is, in my opinion, the best diet sweetener. And Sodastream is the best diet tonic, hands down!

So, she drinks it straight, on the rocks......She reports that Sodastream Diet Tonic, although slightly sweeter that Canada Dry, has a really nice taste....and is doing the job!
