[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Piece of junk has only recognized a dvd the first time and then hasnt worked since its in the trash now where it belongs. I will never buy anythink made by LG again.
Pros: Style/Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I had one of the least expensive dvd players before I purchased this LG model but one thing it had that the LG does not have was Pandora. I was shoched when I installed this new BD640 model and to my dismay it did not have the Pandora capability. Please create a patch update soon so that your customers can enjoy the same music afforded to others. How hard could this be??????

I've had this Blu-Ray player for a few weeks now and it's great.. I have this hooked up to a 47" LG TV (47LD500) and it is fantastic. The Simplink works great. Avatar looks stunning on it as well as everything else I've played on it. My only complaint is that although it has the USB dongle for wireless, it doesn't have a second port for a flash drive. Otherwise, it was one of the best purchases I've made in a long time.

This player can do it all. The menu is easy to navigate. The picture and sound are dynamite. The online features are great ( Watching YouTube in full screen is like "WOW" ). Overall a great player at a very great price!

A breeze to setup and use

Got this unit to replace a Blu-ray player that gave up the ghost after a couple of years (not LG). A couple of quick connections and it was ready to go. Wireless setup was just as quick.
Getting hooked up to Netflix took 2 minutes and all the movies in my queue were there. Additionally any movie available on Netflix streaming is just an easy search away.
The way it interacts with my LG HD flat screen was welcome surprise. Beautiful picture, easy controls and quick response time combine to make this a winner.

this blue ray player is the one you need to buy. i love this player. the picture quality is perfect, you will be amazed. this is what bluray is all about. it also has Netflix, Vudu, and Youtube. the big plus for buying this product is it comes with the wifi adapter. these adapters cost as much to add as this player costs.
