Not all bad

I do like how the motor power pick up the dirt. The sides of a room need to use the hose attachment, so that is a bit time consuming. My concern is that in three months, will this still have the same power as when it was out of the box. I have found with most vacuums this type, they lose their power fast and have to work harder to clean. This is with regular cleaning of the vacuum. I do not feel it is that light weight but does get the job done.

Thank you for your review. You should always have good suction with your vacuum. Maintenance is required though. Make sure to keep the filters clean and the brush for good airflow with your machine.

Great Vacuum

I purchased this vacuum for my mother last christmas and we have had no problems with it whatsoever. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants a vacuum. The attachment makes it easy to clean the steps and hard to reach corners. We just love it thank you Bissel.

We purchased this vacuum a couple of weeks ago. It has great suction. We had a Hoover and this one has 10 times more suction then the Hoover. The first time we used it, we had to empty the cannister 5 times. We couldn't belive all the fuzz and dirt we got out of the carpet. We have a 1500 sq. ft. home.

This is a very good cleaner, lightweight, powerfull suction pickup, and versatile. Nice convenience of auto rewind for cord. Only negative and complaint is that the cord is waaaay too short! Just not comparable to previous cleaners I have had. Will take some getting used too. Still like the cleaner so far.

Not a good vacuum for arthritis and fibromyalgia

While this vacuum does have good suction it is very heavy and cumbersome to use. With my arthritis, fibromyalgia and back problems I am worn out after one room. The cord rewind while being a handy feature is located at base of handle and the cord is forever getting under the wheels and beater bar. This is the worst vacuum I've ever had as far as it's bulkyness and the sheer weight of it. The turbo brush attachment keeps stopping when trying to use on stairs or furniture. If your young and have stamina this is your vacuum if not don't purchase it you'll regret it as I do every time I have to use it.

Thank you for your review. We're sorry for your disappointment. Make sure to fit the power cord into the clip to prevent the cord from going all over the floor. Also, make sure not to apply pressure when working with the turbo brush or this will stop the brush rotation.

Perfect for my hardwood and carpeted floors

I purchased this after great dissatisfaction with my "name brand competitor" vacuum which never really cleaned my hardwood floors very well. I was shocked at how much this picked up! The suction is great and it gets everything from the dog hair to the sand from the kids play box. The cleaning wand is great, I can reach everything from behind the couch to the cobwebs at the ceiling. I love the rewind cord, saves so much time. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

My wife has many physical ailments. Vaccuming is not something anybody likes to do even when young and in excellent health. For a small amount of money more than what we had been spending,we believe we got alot more value.
