After checking several printers, the epsom XP 420 appeared to fill the needs of a printer that I required. The price was suitable, and most importantly the printer cartridges were reasonable compared to others. Time will tell if this has been a sound purchase.

I like epson printers

I have previously owned a Epson Stylus Photo TX700W printer and I have had this printer for a few years now and have had no hassles until the heads wore out so I replaced it with the XP420 so I reckon this should be just as good and hopefully will last as long as my old printer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am not a tec' savvy' person, but found the set up easy and was impressed with the first test page a colour photo on plain paper. The little screen is very easy to use light touches only for its price this product is proving very good value for money.

Previous Epson xp-400 series proved most satisfactory in meeting my printing and scanning requirements and those of my grandchildrens school requirements
