I haven't used the curling iron yet, but the straightener has been really great. It heats up fast and gives your hair a nice smooth finish. So far no issues. It doesn't snag my hair like some of the more expensive ones have. It is light weight, but yet a good durability about it, for its price. In fact, I would go as far to say its' durability is probably just as good as a Chi (that's the only experience I have, is with Chi products). This one is much lighter in weight however, and the way it is shaped allows me to straighten my hair with more ease and a smoother finish. So far, I love it and recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My friend bought me the Remington Pearl Straightener Model s-9500. I have super curly and frizzy hair and this straightener worked so well until the day it died. Two days ago to be exact. But since I've had it for around 4 years I have to say that it has been the longest lasting one I've ever owned and by far my favorite one. I can straighten my hair quickly, I don't have to keep going over the same section over and over, one slow swipe and it's good. And my hair never got caught in it like some straighteners and it heats up quickly. I don't know what one I'll get next but something similar to this one.

I bought this when it came out 8 years ago, put it through quite a lot of abuse over the years. It still looks brand new, the plates haven't worn out at all and the heat is still amazing! For the price, I would recommend to anyone! I use it as a straightener and a curler.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this flat iron! I heats up very quickly, and beeps to let you know it has reached the temperature. I set mine to 420 degrees and it is that hot in just 15-20 seconds. My hair is very long (down to my hips) and thick. It has no issues staying warm and straightening my hair. It maintains heat as well. my hair doesn’t get caught or pulled, glides smooth while straightening.

This straightener the Remington pro 1” flat iron with pear ceramic technology heats up in 15 seconds which is a great feature especially for those mornings when you are in a hurry. The straightener made my medium length hair nice and straight and left it looking shiny and smooth.
