I can get a better product for half the price

I bought my Pearl around last March and it's already messed up. I straighten my hair maybe two or three times a month. So I've used the thing roughly 21 times. I used the highest setting (450) because my hair is naturally super curly. Anyway, I was using my Pearl the other night and I noticed it wasn't working like it should. I checked to make sure it was still on and it was. I then felt the plates. One of them was hot like it should have been, but the other wasn't,
I take good care of my flat-irons. I wipe off the plates after use, don't wrap the cord, etc. I am totally disappointed that this one died so early on. I could have spent half of what I paid on this straightener and actually gotten a product that would last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

this is the best straightener i have ever used. the 1st one got dropped in a sink full of water and still worked for a week. after using this tool my hair is straight and shiny. i recommend it to anyone who has curly hair.

I bought this product thinking it would be great and it was for a little bit and then it quit I haven't even had it six months and it quit heating. Don't waste you money on this one.

I have bought two of these in the past year and a half and both worked great for a while but then quit!
The first one i bought would heat up to the temperature and then everytime i shut the plates on my hair to straighten it the straightener would shut off!
The second one i bought was saying it was heated up so i would begin to use it, but then i realized it wasn't working right and checked to see what was going on. It turns out only one of the plates was heated up!
I loved these straighteners while they worked but won't be geting another one because the previous two have stopped working only 6-8 months later!

I bought this product and used it for 3 days and then wouldn't even cut on so for me to evaluate it, I can not. I would not buy it again either. The digital elements stopped working and of course wouldn't heat up.

I love this flat iron!!! However after reading some of these reviews I hope it last longer than a few months. Though for the price and the results from using this flat iron I can see why so many go back in hopes that the second one last. If there is a problem I hope they can fix it because I am loving this product!!!

I am a young girl that got this as a gift for Christmas. I have had it for a year now and have very long thick brown hair! it works a treat and is on the cheaper side to! everyone always thinks i use a GHD strainer but no i just got a curler from the same brand so i hope it is just as good!!!
