[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy that I have found another Remington Flatiron that I LOVE! It heats up fast, and when I forget to turn it off, it shuts off automatically. It is the perfect size for home or on the go. I have also used on a my niece's really curly hair and it worked great. I have already recommended it to a couple of family members.

Honestly I was super surprised that it was so efficient at straightening my hair with one pass! I have very curly thick hair and it made it soft , shiny and straight ! I look forward to purchasing more from this line!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This flat iron has replaced the flat iron I was using before I received this one! The major thing for my with any flat iron is that I want the highest heat possible, and this goes up to 450 degrees!! So with putting it on the highest heat I can quickly get my hair flat ironed a lot faster. Not having to go over it several times is more important to me This is a digital flat iron so It has the power button, - and + sign buttons. It does heat up quick which I like. One feature that is my second favorite after the 450 degree temp is the swivel cord it has!! No more tangled or wrapped around cord! Another nice feature is that you can slide the button at the end of the flat iron to lock it closed. That's a nice feature when you want to store it away. This flat iron has the 1" plates and I like it because I can get in close to my roots.
Overall I am pretty pleased with this flat iron, it replaced my older one. I do wish it came in fun bright colors, just to make it brighter looking!! I have already recommended this Remington model to a few friends of mine.

I currently use this because my husband bought it for me for valentines day and he picked a winner! It keeps my hair smooth, shiny, and I haven't seen any signs of damage. I use it 1-2 times a week.

Great straightener. Effective in what it does.. inexpensive and I've had mine going on 8 years I think.it does get hot so be sure to use a thermal protector on your hair. I like it has different temperature settings and a lock feature. There's always room for improvement. But this product works very well as it does now.
