I purchased this to go along with my Samsung 51" plasma TV. Hook up was easy. I'm impressed with the quality and sound.
Pros: Inexpensive

it makes a great additoin to the samsung tv the only thing i think thay sould do is make the cases out of something that does'nt pick up so much dust

Freezes all the time while streaming

This device freezes all the time, when streaming youtube and netflix videos. Works fine for Bluray / DVD playback.
Returned the player once for the same issue. The new one also seems to be having the same issue. :(
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The fact that you have to manually change the Audio to HDMI each time you want to use the system with speakers other than the supplied speakers is a big drawback. I want to use my surround sound system in the house and had to change this setting each time. Samsung should allow for this setting to be changed and saved as the default setting. Since this cannot be done I purchased a different Blu Ray player that I can use -with ease - and not have to changed this setting each time I want to watch a movie.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations, cannot change system defaults to suite needs
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my system! I've had it approximately a month. My only complaint at the moment is the volume buttons. They could light up like the rest of the unit and I feel like I never touch them right to have them work properly. But the remote works great until i get it down! Overall..I believe it's an awesome system! ^_^
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, sounds great, touch
Cons: Too big, volume buttons visibility
