I actually use these for hooping and they are fantastic (hula hoops can be slippery suckers). Plus I love the Gaiam logo/flower of life design. Just wonderful! Very comfortable, highly recommended.

I wanted to say these gloves have been great for my hot vinyasa class. I was slipping all over before, it also makes my poses more effective and gives my muscles better stability even when perspiration inevitably winds up on the surface of the mat. Definately a worthwhile investment.

These gloves are poor quality material and not the least bit durable. Similiar gloves of a better quality can be purchased at any major pharmacy store for 500% less. Very disappointed in this Gaim product. Formerly Gaim offered a much better quality product made form a spandex material. I would never recommend this product to my yoga students.

I bought the gloves and socks to take on vacation, as I had no room for a mat. I thought that they were a great price and I had a lot of fun with them. My only complaint was for the socks - my feet slipped in them on some poses. I am happy with my purchase, and will use these when I can not use my mat.

I LOVE these black and pink Super Grippy Yoga Gloves! They keep my hands from slipping off my mat during certain poses and they also just happen to be my favorite combination of colors! I have recommended these to various friends and even my yoga instructor! I truly feel these are essential for any yogi. Thanks Gaiam!!

Yoga non-slip gloves

My hands sweat so much, inversions have been really difficult. I have to keep adjusting my hands as they slide across my mat. These gloves absorb the sweat but my hands are small enough they slide in the palm area. Then they cut in between my fingers. I have to keep wearing them since once my hands have slid forward enough inside the glove then the non-slip starts working. I wish they weren't knit but more elastic and form fitting. I have answered many questions about the performance of these gloves to my yoga classmates and have bought a pair for my 14 year old son whose hands are big enough he has none of the slippage issues.

Gloves would be great, but they are one size and fit loose. Kept on shifting during poses. :(
