Poor internet connectivity

We have a lot of issues using the Smart Hub...Netflix often freezes up and we have to restart the entire system to get it to work. Same thing happens when attempting to play Blu-ray. We consistently check for updates, but the system still does not perform as expected. Also, if you play a game or Blu-ray through Playstation, you get audio from the TV and surround and it creates an annoying echo.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best bang for the buck. 2 repetitive issues. Although hard-wired to my FIOS system, the system doesn't update. Today is the second time I've had to download the latest update to my thumb-drive. Also, when viewing a TV show/movie at either Netflix or Hulu Plus, the system will seize up, in freeze-frame state, and, as none of the buttons on the remote work, except for the ON/OFF, I'm forced to re-boot. Now, these may be issues with FIOS/Netflix/Hulu Plus, but, none of my FIOS TV/movie transmissions free up, so-o-o-o.... Beyond that, sound, blu-ray, general Internet entertainment functions all work like a champ. Life ain't perfect. Samsung ain't gonna call me with a fix anytime soon, so, it is what it is. Good out-weighs the bad.

It is great product. Voice quality is great. Just one thing I wish they would have built in wireless device for iphones or any smart phones where you do not have to buy a separate device.

Cons: does not have wireless ipod

I love everything about this unit. The only thing wrong with it is it freezes randomly and I'll have to restart it. Pain in the butt? Yes but it doesn't happen that often so I give it a 5 star rating across the board!
P.S. Get a Samsung TV to pair with it and the compatibility is AMAZING!

Looks are not everything

This is a very nice looking system. It compliments my Samsung 8000 tv nicely. The sound is decent. The movies take a bit too long to load. I have dealt with other bluray players that are faster. I wish the tv would turn on the surround sound system automatically like my other tv and surround sound system does. The smart hub is slow and cumbersome to use.
Pros: looks nice
