Not what I expected

I bought this with a 3D TV to replace a surround system that is > 10 years old. This one is easy to set up. Everything works even the wireless back speakers. However, the sound quality is not there. The old one was much better. I thought each back surround speaker would have its own wireless receiver but they don't so you still have wires to run. There are no preset sound (reverb,echo) and equalizer settings to mimic movie, arena, stadium... like my old one had. All in all, not bad for the price, just not great. Thinking about putting my old one back and using this one for the secondary TV.
Pros: Lightweight, relatively inexpensive, nice design visually
Cons: Did not meet expectations, single wireless receiver for surround speakers, not really 7.1 it is 5.1, mediocre sound quality, no preset audio venues
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am on my third one, I would not recommend this player to anybody. When it works it is awesome, I even have a samsung smart tv, that works just fine. But the blu-ray player is terrible.
Cons: Poor quality

Rear wireless relay breakdown

I bought this unit and love it when it works. As I stated, when it works as advertised, this is the second time my wireless relay (rear speakers) won’t work. Samsung was great to replace the relay the first time, but it worked for about two months. I bought this unit to go with my Samsung (Smart) TV thinking it would provide seamless and great movie enjoyment, but, it has provided to be a pain in the rear. I’ll call Samsung in the morning to find out if they replace the whole unit or give me my money back. Their TV is excellent; I just wish Samsung’s HTIB sets were reliable.
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Only had it a month and it stopped working already. It will not play Blu Ray or 3D discs any longer.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

I just set the HT-D6730W Home Theater System up and I am very pleased with the system and the available features. The setup was fairly effortless and trouble free.
Pros: Bright display

Nice System. Could have been better for the price. Overall I am satisfied with my product.
