Excellent does not do the 4K Ultra HD TV justice, but outstanding is the proper word that I would use. Truly an outstanding color, sounds and the ease of use with the menus combined with the feel of the remote control is truly really amazing. In addition, the set-up along with the manual’s instructions are really easy to follow. To date, I have not tried any blue tooth connections yet and I am hoping that I can connect my blue tooth headphones to hear the sounds. So far, the picture tube has been cool to the touch and looks great in my living area, and for $24 bucks to operate a year….well that point remains to be seen!
The flaw occurs when I play the sound through the sound bars using the sound bar’s laser connection cable. Yes, all of my equipment is provided by the same company and you can hear the sound actually “drop” for a full second, sometimes two. My guess is like its buffing the data bits along the laser cable or within the chip, and then suddenly being released. Despite this flaw, I am still giving this set a full rating and if the sound continues like it does, then I will seriously consider upgrading again.
My thoughts are to use the technology to the fullest and integrate this along with future models, like to use it with popular smart phones. We all know that purchasing separate and integrating parts in today’s HD TV’s can and will be very pricey, but hey, we got to keep the companies in business.
My recommendation is to do he research first and then ask the salesperson to fully play all aspects of this television while it is still in the store. You may be surprised at how knowledgeable they think that they are.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When it comes to TV picture quality I am very detailed and critical. But the picture on this TV is absolutely outstanding, very crisp, sharp and well defined, balanced color. I have two other 1080p TVs by other brands but the picture clarity and quality is no where near this Sony. I had a HDCP system hooked up to my previous older Sony to stream from internet or watch movies but with this TV there is no need for it. SMART features are great and the 4 HDMI inlets has allowed me to connect my PC and other peripherals to it and can easily toggle back and forth using the remote control! Imagine a crisp clear 65" PC monitor!! Absolutely happy with my purchase.

I bought the TV and had enjoyed the apps on it and the awesome picture quality. I thought it was pretty cool that Netflix app on it had a selection of 4K programming. It looked amazing. Sound was not so great, but once I hooked up home theatre system, it was great. I replaced factory remote with a smart remote and it worked flawless with this TV. Absolutely in love with this TV. However, after 30 days, the TV stopped working properly and no longer displays the picture. Now its time to test out the repair process as the TV is still under warranty. I have been assured the TV will be replaced and we will be back in business watching awesome programming, movies and playing Xbox 360 and One.

Have had this TV for 6 months now and still love it. Great picture! Have it connected to my Wi-Fi so if there is a software update it comes up and asks if I want to update the software. Pretty painless! The built in apps are also pretty easy to use via my Wi-Fi.
I bought this to replace a 55" Samsung top of the line LED. 3D, 240hz true motion TV. This TV has a brighter picture than my old one but the contrast is not as good.

Press the HOME button, then select [Settings]. Select [Picture & Display] - [Picture Adjustments] - [Picture Mode] Select [Picture & Display] - [Picture Adjustments] - [Picture] to adjusts picture contrast.
