This cooktop has been used for 6 month and already there is a chip in the glass on the edge and I don't recall anything banging it or falling on it. I don't recommend the black one. I wish we had purchased the one with the stainless edge. It does work well though.

I have only recently been able to start using it and I am absolutely loving the ease of use and the quicker cooking times. This is definitely a quality product and I would highly recommend this cooktop.

Large Crack Appeared Out of Nowhere

Despite owning this for less than 2 years and treating it with care, a huge crack in the glass has appeared out of nowhere, cutting through two of the burners. While the glass cooktop is covered under extended warranty, I am responsible to pay for the service technician's labour costs. What a joke, don't buy this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It exceeds expectations in terms of cooking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My one criticism is the visibility of the elements....even with range hood illumination full on, it is very difficult to see their outline. With so much other information on the surface that has internal lighting, surely the outline of each element could be similarly defined?
