Extremely satisfied

I am extremely satisfied with this printer. It does everything, it does it easily, and it does it well. I have a small business & print about 50 pages a day. I was a bit leery that it would not meet my expectations, but it has exceeded them. The faxing and scanning features are equally as impressive. I’ve dealt with their customer service, they are great. I’ve read negative reviews about paper curling, it was never an issue. I can’t wait for my printer at home to break so I can buy another one for home.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got What I Expected

Wanted a laser all in one with legal scanning flatbed capabilities as well as legal printing capabiilties. Also wireless so it works with my laptop and house guests. My injet all in one provided most of this but did not allow me to work with water based pigments or glues on the printed document (artistic application.) Does everything I expected.
Takes a while to print the first sheet but quick once its warmed up. Also,takes some patience and tweaking on the color and light settings to get photo printing just right. I knew this before buying it.

Great Machine!

I love this printer/scanner/fax machine!. It works. it is fast. it is powerful, feature rich and print quality is great. pricing might not be for the faint of heart, but worth every penny. only concern so far is how long the ink cartidges will last. the replacements are expensive!

Delivers on the promise

Upgraded from a Canon color inkjet multi-function that worked well, but I wanted to quality, etc., of the laser (and the Canon was worn out). Have owned for a few months and been impressed. The automatic document feeder has been flawless, and the feed speed (especially during scans) is great. The paper curling issue you read about is apparent, but it hasn't bothered me at all. Very pleased with my purchase. Brother, nicely done.

Smart Purchase

When I decided I wanted quality color copies that wouldn't break my bank, I opted for the MFC9970CDW. It was a smart choice. I have been a long-time Brother user (I owned two MFC8890 monolasers at the same time for school and home).
As a teacher in transition, I will purchase a second MFC9970CDW for my next classroom!

Could be better

The printer needs a driver update for air printing from phones/iAds. I am aware of the brother software now available but it is too limited.
It is also very noisy.

Great Multi-function printer

The best Multi-function printer I have ever owned. It is somewhat large for home use but is well worth the extra space requirement.
