Very Happy!

I have used this printer now for several months and have been very happy so far. Scans beautifully to PC or email which I use a lot. The iphone app for it is also awesome! I also bought the extra capacity paper tray accessory so I don't have to switch papers between legal and letter (meaning I can just tell whatever program I am in to print on legal or letter and it picks the right tray). And all of the above I am doing on my home network wirelessly which is great!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Color All-In-One, Fast & Reliable

I’ve owned several Laser Let printers and all-in-one printers from competing manufacturers and even more ink jet printers, but the Brother MFC-9970CDW clearly stands out. Since initial installation almost a year ago, it has performed flawlessly. It’s very fast and the software package that comes with the printer is not only functional, but easy to use; unlike competing brands. While I seldom use the fax, I use the printer, copier, and scanner on a regular basis. The image quality is very good and the speed is even better. My last two Laser Jet printers for my home office have been Brother Laser Jets, and both have performed flawlessly.

Great for marketing materials...

We use this high-end Brother printer for color brochures and customer presentations. I would rate this printer much higher if not for the akward output paper path. Print quality is excellent in both color and black & white. This printer would benefit from a larger paper capacity without requiring the purchase of an additional paper tray.
I had to replace the drum unit within three months of purchase. The drum unit was replaced under warrentee at no cost to me. It has worked great ever since.

Very simple to use, and it sure seems to do everything I need to do with a machine like this. It has met my expectations. Brother customer service is remarkable as well. Very good on both accounts.

Best Printer Ever!

This is by far the best printer I have ever owned! Capabilities are great and the prints are awesome! It also costs me so much less than the inkjet printers I have owned in the past. I always stayed away from lasers because of the cartridge costs, but they cost much less than all the cartridges I had to buy for an inkjet when you figure the cost per sheet. Highly recommend this printer for anyone! Brother has hit the ball out of the park with this one!

A few kinks

Overall, the machine handles the workload. Color scanning great. A few things I don't like:
1. If you have paper in the feeder tray or receiving tray, each page that comes out pushes the other papers out of the machine and onto the floor.
2. The fax function is extremely slow whether you scan and fax or fax straight. My old plain machine was much faster.

I had a 9570 and decided to upgrade. This has been a great machine. I have a small building company and we have to print a lot of color documents and this works great. Very easy to set up. I have seen some reviewers have issues with the size but I think it is OK.
