This is a great machine. I've used all the functions on it since purchase and have never had a machine I've liked better. Buy one. You won't be disappointed.

Many features don't work with MAC

Highly disappointed. Many of the "nice to have"/ "convenience" features are not compatible with a Mac.

Great Choice

After months of comparing products my wife and I decided on the MFC-9970CDW Color Laser All-in-One. It has all the features that we were looking for in a business type printer, and more. We anticipate this printer lasting for years with proper care and maintenance. This was a great choice and we are very pleased with the functions of the printer. We could have paid more and gotten less, but we know we made the right choice.

Another Great Brother MFC

After 60 days of owning the MFC 9970CDW it has met all my small business needs and then some! For example, when I need to scan, color print and fax immediately (on a daily basis), my Brother MFC 9970CDW has done the job smoothly. Though I agree with other reviews about the quality of envelope prints (i.e. creased and glued), it's a minor flaw for such a great machine with easy to use features. This has been a great investment which improved my office productivity.

Best Features on an MFC Printer

I've owned previous Brother MFC printers and bought the MFC-9970 for the dual scan and the speed.
The print quality is excellent. I think the best feature of this Brother is the excellent support provided by their US tech reps.
I would recommend this to a friend!

If you need any color photos at all, do not purchase this machine. Brother sent a tech to my office and I have spent hours with hardware and software support. They still cannot get green grass to print green. This is my 3rd Brother product and I am terribly disappointed.

Excellent All-in-One

Fast, accurate, high-resolution printing of both black/white and color documents.
Scanner is very quick with excellent duplication for copies, PDF's files and faxes.
It is large - if space is an issue, keep this in mind. Also, for the over-all size, the standard paper holder is petite (I am guessing that adding more stature with a bigger paper holder was considered a negative).
Would recommend without reservations.

Amazing 4 in one capabilies at high speeds

This is my 4th all in one, and I am really impressed with what it does and does at a high rate of speed. Good for personal and or business use. I recommend the 9970cdw to anyone who needs copy/print/scan/ & fax more than just occasionally, and who needs it perform faster than the typical all in one. The users manual could use some work on the fax setup, but does a good job on the other functions.
