[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first, I didn't think I would need a 4 slice toaster, but I am glad I went for it. The bagel feature is nice and I also like the reheat feature. It works well and toasts evenly. I don't know why some reviewers dislike the sound the toaster makes to notify when the toast is done. It is just like the sound the microwave or stove timer makes, except it is just one "beep". I am ok with it.

As it turned out it was the plug and not the toaster that was not working, but I liked the new one so well I didn't send it back. I love the automatic lift and digital display. This is why KitchenAid is the only brand of small appliance I use!!
