My toaster quit working so I bought this toaster and I love it. One small item... It does not toast both sides evenly ( one side is darker than the other) on the two right hand slots. Not an issue for me but for the price, I thought I would mention this as it might not be acceptable for everyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster has some great features, like the defrost and bagel settings. However, when setting both sides on the same setting, and toasting the same bread, they do not toast equally. In other words, the two slots on the left toast darker than the two slots on the right. But this is not much to complain about.
My complaint is with the large white safety tag glued to the electrical cord, not far from the plug. It was in the way and huge. Upon removing it, it left a horrible sticky glue on the cord, that I cannot remove. I tried using nail polish remover, with no success. I had to wrap the sticky cord with plastic and tape to prevent the cord from collecting crumbs, dust, and cat hair. YUCK! Major flaw.
The toaster is very bulky and difficult to lift. Adding handles would have helped. I keep it my cabinet and place it on the counter to use it. My previous toaster had nice indented, alcove-type hand holds with which to lift it. This toaster would have benefited from this feature.
Lastly, the completion signal is too loud...as loud as my microwave oven. Not necessary.
Pros: improved slow ejection. no fly-away toast., easy to use
Cons: signals loud and annoying, sticky cord after removing giant tag.
