Great Toaster - Very Short Life Cycle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just purchased our third model of this toaster. It's a great toaster but it lasts only about a year. We had problems with the electronics on the first one, and the electric lift mechanism on the second. When it worked, however, it was great which is why we bought it again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
