Wonderful Phone

I have had this phone for many months now and love it. It has many features that help me with my busy lifestyle of being a working single mother. The phone itself is very sturdy and has yet to have any damage to it even though I have dropped it many times. Over all, it's a fantastic phone for the price and I believe anyone would be please with it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Durable, Inexpensive, Lightweight, Built-in speakers

Other than having to download apps for ads for the samsung games, excellent product. The leather back doesnt slip out of my hand
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight

Maybe best Samsung mobile phone ever

I have owned many, many Samsung cellphones. I currently use the S7 Edge. I had the Note 7 but we all know what happened with those, and I have been waiting quite impatiently for the new Note 8.
But of all the phones I have owned my favorite was the Note 3. With the S Pen. Adaptable storage, removable battery, great access with "My Files" which I think was introduced in that model.
Just a great little computer, phone, date keeper, note keeper, camera, social media connection.... the phone had it all. Many more features that are now pretty much standard on all Samsung phones.
The screen size was perfect, and dominant for its time.
We have moved on several generations, have gone to this slimmer, longer screen, beveled edge, etc. I am not sure I like the new screens better than the large, square, flat surface of the Note 3. And I am sure I will love my Note 8 when it comes out in a few weeks.
But until the Note 8 gets here my favorite will always be the Note 3.
Actually, when I exchanged my Note 7 for the S7, the wife got the Note 3 and uses it to this day and she is totally in love with it. It was quite a step up for her from the little S3.
There may never be another cellphone as perfect as the Note 3.

Welcome 22nd Century...

High speed, low drag, this is the phone I've been waiting for. The features are incredible. With the built in stylus, it's a snap to take notes without fumbling over a keyboard. Better yet... use your S-Voice and say what you mean.
Loads fast, transfers big files faster... I can drag and drop my itunes into my music folder and it converts then for me. No regret for leaving apple. I was almost in tears after the ios7 update, but now I am in smartphone heaven.
Web is faster, apps are faster, without any crashes whatsoever. Battery life is a beast, as long as you maintain your app settings, but hold the home button down and close every open app with a tap on the screen.
Now... pair this phone with Galaxy Gear and you are Dick Tracy on Star Trek steroids. This pairing works flawlessly and is a HUGE help when on the go. Phablet??? No... FABULET!!! Yes. It may be larger than your typical smartphone, but the super AMOLED is stunning to look at. I hardly even use my computer anymore.
My only complaint is that the rear camera needs a little more recess into the back cover. I see it getting scratched up in the future if I am not careful.
Other than that, I can't say enough. I am hooked on the Note III and look forward to what's next from the Galaxy.

The perfect phone, but only for serious smartphone users

This phone is amazing. I mean, I just don't know where to start! I am a power user of cell phones and amateur developer, so I know a thing or two.
First impressions: holy Jesus this thing is huge! But after about a day or two of solid use, the size isn't as overwhelming and becomes quite handy for people who use their phones, and I mean a LOT.
PROCESSOR: Processor speed nearly blew my hair back. I was expecting it to be fast, but when I used a backup program to transfer hundreds of music files to the Note 3 I was ready to set the phone down and let it work for a few minutes when I was suddenly godsmacked to realize the files had finished transferring before I could even set the phone down! It is very snappy and out performs any smartphone I've ever used. Screen and apps are super snappy and responsive.
S-PEN: The S Pen wasn't really a selling point for me but I did think it would be cool to have a built-in stylus, so it was more of a perk than anything. I really had no idea the full capabilities of this little thing. FAR too many to even go into, but let's just say I was very impressed that a stylus could even do so much. One of my favorite features of the S Pen would have to be the hover capabilities where you can just hover the pen above the screen and get addition information on many things... try it in the music player, it's really something! Also cool is the S Pen keeper which will notify you if you walk away from your pen, just note that it detects your walking motions and not proximity to the pen, so if your phone remains stationary and your pen wanders off somehow, your phone will not know until you get up with the phone and start walking.
DESIGN: I've always been a fan of Samsung's design on most of their products. Their just always so smooth and sleek while remaining just a little bit ahead of the curve without looking just plain ridiculous. Well the Note 3 is the most impressive yet! It's VERY sleek and progessional looking and the leather tecture backing with the subtle "stitching" around the edge is just beautiful. This phone looks so elegant, you won't want to put it in a case (which is precisely why I ordered a clear case.)
SCREEN: The screen is probably going to be the number one reason most people by this phone. IT. IS. HUGE.... and while that's a selling point in it's self, the clarity and quality of images is what really counts, and sweet Mary and Joseph this phone's got it! Believe me, if you get this phone, you will NOT be disappointed with the screen in any way!
VALUE: While it's certainly quite an expensive phone, the cost is by no means unwarranted. I would have to say this phone is by far worth every penny!
OVERALL: I could not be more impressed by a phone and probably won't be for quite some time. Everything about this phone is epic and as hard as I try, I honestly can't come up with anything I really don't love about it. It can be pretty big for the casual phone user, but for people who need their phones for work or business and do a LOT with them, it's definitely the right tool!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, ungodly fast processor, s-pen, beautiful design, sweet built-in camera apps
Cons: quite expensive, s-pen location not designed with lefties in mind, battery life is average at best
