I like this phone, but have one issue. The S Note feature functions quite poorly. The stylus simply does not operate as expected. The only way I get consistent performance is by using my finger. The stylus has inconsistent performance with notes being fragmented and unreadable.
The note 3 is really the only phone I have had been able to keep up with everything I asked for a phone to do. The screen is very fast very zippy it responds to everything and has plenty of memory to handle every task. The OLED display has ruined me for any device that doesn't have that feature it's truly beautiful and the colors really pop and are so much more defined than any other screen I've ever seen. Ips or pva cannot compare. The only complaint that I have about this phone is that with all the features in the light screens able to produce it does wear pretty heavily on the battery which can be mitigated by purchasing an extended battery pack. The song is definitely made me a believer in the note line and I hope please please amsung do not have a sealed non user replaceable battery in your future versions. The S Pen is really easy to use and I have found that having the hidden function that lets you write in formulas that goes directly to Wolfram Alpha is extremely handy for anybody doing anything student wise or just wanting to run some numbers without having to know the formula or have solve it. I use it to fact check any of my answers or problems I have issues with.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, user replaceable battery
Cons: battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Apart from the new update, 5.0 Lollipop, my Note III has always been one of my favorite devices. truely the reason I will continue to by samsung in the future. The cost is a little higher than most phone but the Accessibility, O.S, and sleek design makes up for all that!
Pros: computer like capabilities, very fast operating system.
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love this phone and all it's features. I will use one note after the next, Takes great pics. Love how it organizes and it's functionality and performance. It is the 1st phone I have ever used that I absolutely loved. Can't wait to use the note 4. Love the way it feels in my hands and the size of the phone is perfect.
While there are pros and cons to every phone, the biggest pro I can name is the updated S Pen. It's so much better than the Note 2 that it's actually starting to be used whereas I never used it for the Note 2. As for the biggest con, it would have to be battery management. While there is definitely more data capacity in the RAM in the Note 3, it is really bad about maxing it out without first closing down programs that haven't been used in a while. Granted, that's more of a software issue, but on the hardware side it forces the battery to really heat up causing it to drain a lot faster. I finally had to break down and buy an after market battery that has a larger capacity to handle the strain. The only other real disappointment I can see is the visual display. Compared to the Note 2, even in dynamic mode the vibrant colors are so much more crisp on the Note 2 compared to the Note 3.
Pros: Lightweight
Cons: Not high def
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
