The Note 3 is a great all-inclusive device that holds everything in your hands. Many people complain about the size of device until they own it. It fits just fine in a pocket, even with a case and the screen size is amazing.
No real need to own a tablet for web surfing when you can surf using the Note.
I have had iPhones, HTC's, Motorola's, and now I have had the Samsung Galaxy Notes. My wife has the S Phones, but I have to say that the Note is incredible. I have huge hands, so the size of the Note is a HUGE attraction for me personally. It fits very well in my hand and I love having all the screen real estate. I am very much looking forward to the Note 4 and the Note Edge. Not sure if the Edge will be as great as we all hope, but the advance into using the OLED tech in phones is finally here and will continue to expand the possibilities for the Note phones.
I thought I wouldn't enjoy the size of the phone but it's been surprisingly handy for all email and data related activities. It still fits nicely in my pockets and holds it's charge surprisingly well (better than my S4 did).
Pros: Bright display, size

Coming from the S4 this phone was a huge upgrade for me. I have enjoyed the ability to use the S-Pen for work. It has enhanced my ability to take notes on the fly when I am not in at the office. The battery life has always been impressive to me as I managed to let it sit off the charger for a few days with minimal usage and it lasted the whole weekend. Just like the S4 the charge time on the Note 3 is amazing charging to full in very timely manner. The picture quality of the screen as well as the camera are outstanding. Even found the new golf photo option to be handy when taking a look at my swing on the course. All in all I am happy with this product and look forward to upgrading to the Note 5 next year.
To me the only two downfalls are the very cheap plastic bezel of the phone. Just like with my S4 a small drop and it put a huge chip in the bezel. This is something that needs to be address. The speaker placement being on the bottom is a huge improvement over the back. I have still found myself covering it up and muffling out the sound.
When I first got the Galaxy Note 3 I was worried that the phone would be massively too big, but the screen size has proven invaluable to multitasking (I.e. YouTube while texting or Web browsing while emailing). And with how thin and light the phone is it really isn't that big at all in the pocket. The built in fitness tracker is great and I'm looking to add on a Gear Fit to compliment this awesome phone even further.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast
Cons: a little expensive

Great little "phablet," incorporating the best of both worlds, i.e. phone and tablet. I recommend getting a protective case, as well. I love being able to watch sporting events and movies on it, or using it with the wireless Samsung hub that lets me use Screen Mirroring to display my phone screen on the television.
