Get One - It's a decision you won't regret

I've had my Note 3 for about 6 months and could not be happier with it. I upgraded from the Galaxy S III because, as a bigger guy, I wanted a bigger phone. What I ended up with was so much more. I was astonished at the increase in battery life in the Note 3 over the S III. The phone doesn't "feel" as big as it is. It's actually very light for it's size as well.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great, Fantastic, Outstanding but for ONE BIG THING!

If you want a large screen phablet that is fast, great looking, will run circles around the competition, facilitates making your daily routines easier and more efficient with access to email, calendars, text messaging, a stylus that makes tapping those small keys much easier, then the Note 3 is for you!
If you want a device that has a dedicated function to "keep you in the loop" with the latest news, what your facebook friends are up to, what your twitter followers are talking about, or what pictures your instagram contacts have uploaded in the past couple of minutes with a simple push of a button or "swipe up" on the screen, then the Note 3 is for you!
However, if all you want or need is a device that does all of the first part, but can do without a centralized app that takes your facebook, twitter, instagram, latest news, and any other "social media" or newsfeeds you configure constantly "in your face" at inopportune times, then look elsewhere. After only 5 days of use, I had my fill of "My Magazine" and Samsung's notion of the Next Big Thing!. For me, that one miscue by Samsung has soured me completely on their product line.
The Note 3 (and from what I understand the S5) are configured by Samsung so that if your phone is on the home screen and you either push the home button or simply swipe up on the display, there is My Magazine! It seemed like I was constantly opening this app by mistake and had to constantly close it out before I could use MY phone for anything. You can disable the Home Button function within the My Magazine app, but only after accepting the terms and conditions of the app which gives it permission to "do it's thing". Currently, there is no way to disable the "swipe up" on the Home screen that opens the app up at the most inopportune times.
If that isn't bad enough, Samsung for some reason that escapes me, has decided that as the OWNER of the phone, I cannot disable, turn off, or uninstall either My Magazine or Flipboard! It is embedded in the software so that you cannot turn it off. If these were "critical" apps, I could understand that limitiation but since when is "social media" critical? Sorry Samsung, but there are some of us that could really care less about such things and want a phablet that meets our "business needs" above all else. I have now reverted back to my Note 2, which is also a great device and was the main reason I even considered the Note 3.
So unless Samsung can find a way to go back to their roots, and enable a Note 3 owner a way to disable, uninstall, or "turn off" those "non critical" apps like I can in the Note 2 that not only extends my battery life, but preserves my limited data for other important things like email, then I for one will sadly have to look elsewhere for my "Next Big Thing" because the Note 3 is not it for me.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: my magazine, flipboard
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Note I I Upgrade

The Note 3 is a fantastic upgrade. The display is phenomenal, size is perfect, thin light yet still has
a sturdy premium feel. So far much faster than the Note 2. My only cons for the device is I feel the S Pen is almost to thin and buffering issues with YouTube streams, beyond that very happy I upgraded.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, speed camera and the new back.
I would recommend this to a friend!

There were a few reasons why I had wanted the Note 3 originally. The first one being that Google Glass was android based and I eventually wanted one. The second reason was the Galaxy Gear. When I first saw the Gear it blew me away. I left team iPhone to try out team android.... Thanks to the Note 3, I'll never go back.
The first Note 3 I received was returned because the camera wouldn't open and the phone got way too hot on its own, which was a little disappointing at first. But when I got a new one from AT&T, I was blown away. The performance speed was so much faster then any iphone I ever had. The note 3 allows you to manage everything. It has the ability to multi task and has such a clear screen. I am in love with my Note 3.
I still haven't had the chance to purchase my Galaxy Gear just because things happen and priorities take over... but hopefully in the near future I'll be able to own a black one :)
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

this is our first smartphone, what a wonderful way to start. this phone is amazing. touchscreen controls are accurate. display is clear. the camera is very good. 32gb of internal memory with a sd slot for more. I am amazed by the speed of the processor. it blows my galaxy tab 2 away with speed. my wife loves it, in fact it is now her phone because it is just awesome. only gripe price is pretty steep. I bought it feb 2014, maybe if I would have waited a while might of got a better price. don't get me wrong I would absolutely buy it again.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: expensive

This is the best phone you could ever own! The only thing that could make it better is if Verizon would unlock the bootloader but that's no blemish on Samsungs record! Get this phone, it's amazing!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, s-pen, fast, quad core, huge

I love this phone. The screen size is terrific - things that were small are now readable! The calendar was the selling feature, no longer a dot on the day there is an activity, but actual words. There is TRULY a task list. I love it.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, calendar
Cons: expensive
