I use this device constantly during the day. I always have the Wi-Fi feature on and since I am a college student, I have my school email account set to push emails. I am also frequently using the internet and other programs I have downloaded for school. Even with all of that heavy data usage over the Wi-Fi, the battery life makes it through the whole day. It's not enough to make it through 2 days, although I could probably make it until about noon or so, I charge it every night, even though there is still quite a bit of battery life left.
Phone looks great but from the moment I purchased it text messaging didn't work on Verizon network. I just found out there is a software problem. When Wi-Fi is turned on text messages won't go through. Neither incoming nor outgoing unless the service is turned off and phone is restarted. Spoke to Verizon and they said Samsung is supposed to come out with a fix soon.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, text messaging doesn't work properly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is my second Note 3. The first one was replaced because of a factory defect. I use this phone a lot during the day for work. I'm constantly checking emails and taking pictures of our products. The phone is an awesome device for work until you have to make a phone call. The signal strength is extremely poor. I have to get by a window in my home or office in order to make or receive phone calls and texts.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: signal strentgh, phone calls, texting
I would recommend this to a friend!

The note 3 is an amazing phone. From the basics of text to NFC, to dual screen this phone is one of the best. I love the fact that the battery far surpasses any other phone on the market, and has a great screen and awesome colors.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color

I Love my phone. Since I don't have a computer I use it for work, home, talking, texting emailing, and reading the news. I enjoy how big it is and I can see the screen. I get service almost everywhere. I would recommend this phone to anyone.
Having been a long time iPhone user, I was hesitant to switch to an Android. However, I received a seeded phone from our Samsung rep, and it's excellent! It has a big screen, which I especially enjoy for streaming video, various capabilities which make my professional life easier to organize, fitness trackers to help keep track of my goals, and a fantastic camera! Love it! :D It's a little cumbersome in my pockets, but it's worth the trade-off.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

When most people think of the Note 3, they think of two things: the size and the stylus. What you don't hear enough about are the real features of the device: speed and quality. The size is a bit of a pain to get used to as it's difficult to fit into some pockets, but once you get over that, the screen and resolution are beautiful. The large screen is perfect for watching videos or playing games on. The stylus is a bit more of a novelty than Samsung would like to admit, but it is perfect for anyone that likes/needs to take notes frequently. you can set it up so as soon as you take the pen out, a specific app opens for you to use it with, or you can use the air command to open five apps. The hand writing recognition software is impressive and the Action Note is absolutely awesome.
So the lesser-known features of this phone are the speed and quality. The speed of turning on, loading apps, surfing the internet - it's all there and is amazingly quick. The speed of opening the camera app and taking pictures is perfect. All-in-all, this is a fast device. Also, the quality - the quality of the screen, the quality of the battery and the quality of the system - all of it is outstanding. The camera produces extremely high quality photos and videos to where you really don't need a digital camera any more.
