Great all around

This is my personal phone but I use it for work use as well. It is a great phone all around. I have work things saved to my phone as well as my own things. I also use apps on my note 3 for work. Any who you get it I use it for work and personal. I also love the watch on app for controlling my tv. But when I want to prank people its great for that to making them think the TV is possessed by changing the volume or channel. I love the amount of memory that comes with it. I came from a note 2 so I knew it was going to be an easy switch. The only thing I was disappointed with was that there was no headset which I still have to buy for this phone. Other then that I can easily say I have convinced a lot of people to go with the note 3, even my wife who came from a note 2 and wanted an iphone. I sold her on the screen size, speed, memory, and simply the spen (probably best feature ever). Hands down this is great and I am looking forward to the note 4.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, s-pen
Cons: no headset.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Note 3 has great features !

I recently received my Samsung Note 3 coming from and iPhone 4. The features on the Samsung Note are very impressive, easy to use and relevant to everyday applications. I could not be pleased anymore coming from a high-end phone getting into a phone with even more features, dependability, style and productivity ! Samsung quickly is becoming my brand for many of my electrical equipment needs. (Eg.) TV , Laptop computer and now my phone! Some people may find issue with its size but they have taken that into consideration and have settings for one hand operation! Give Samsung a try you won't regret it !
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, numerous features
Cons: big but manageable !

Poor Service. Note 3 definitely has poor service problem

I bought my Note 3 last Fall. It works fine at the location I usually live. I have a summer place which is 20 minutes away. My Note 3 has very bad signals. I could not even place a call out. The battery goes dead very quick. I had iPhone before which I had no trouble at both locations. The rest of my families all have iPhones. Nobody has troubles at the summer house. When I spent almost all week to google Note 3 problems, I was shocked to see how many people had reported and discussed the similar problems. Switching to a new SiM didn't help in my case which many other had already done. I highly doubt Verizon could fix it at all. When my contract is over, I'm definitely switching back to iPhone.
Pros: camera
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, worst signals
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Released in 2011 the original Galaxy Note was the monster- sized smartphone that birthed the ‘phablet’ category packing a 5.3-inch screen in an age where the market-leading iPhone was still a comparatively tiny 3.5-inches. The Note seemingly proved that size does matter and it became something of an unexpected hit for Samsung. The company’s strategy with successors has been to see just how far it can push that screen size before a device becomes ridiculous and unwieldy, with the Galaxy Note 3 squeezing a 5.7-inch 1080p display into a chassis that’s actually a bit slimmer (both width and depth wise) than its forebear. It’s also easier to hold thanks to a rubber back (designed to imitate leather) which makes it less slippery than its predecessors.
The included stylus also operates a little differently. Rather than flinging you to a stylus-optimised home page when you pull it out you’re now presented with a little overlay that includes access to pen-driven note-taking search and the ability to run selected apps in a window or launch overlay utilities like the calculator phone or contacts list.
And it’s hard to fault on performance; with similar but slightly upgraded hardware to the Galaxy S4 (a quad-core Snapdragon 800 SoC at 2.3GHz and Adreno 330 graphics chip) the Note 3 is exceptionally fast and fluid in use and in benchmarks too. This is an Android 4.3 phone that’s smooth in operation with Samsung seemingly having ironed out those slight stutter issues we saw in the Galaxy S4.
So is 5.7-inches too big? We’d say NOT AT ALL . If you’ve used the Note II you probably won’t have any trouble adjusting. The thinner edge bezels actually mean your thumb is operating in about the same area when it comes to keyboarding.
If you’ve already got a Note II there’s perhaps not quite enough here to justify an upgrade. For anyone else just looking for a big phone that’s still (just) comfortable this is one worth taking note of.

Amazing Gadget

I just switched from my Note2 to the Note 3 seven days ago. The Note 3 is completely enhanced and enables quite a different user experience from the N2. Powerhouse gadget.
Redesign works - glad to see Samsung went back to work on Note line, and delivered with a superior product in the Note 3.

I LOVE my Galaxy Note 3!

My job keeps me constantly moving, so I use my phone as my office. Having the tablet features keeps me reminded of what I need to do and I use a lot of different apps to keep me where I need to be. People have remarked on its size, but it's perfect for what I need.
