I have new dark wood floors and this is the best and easiest way to keep my floors clean. So easy to use, easy to stow away for quick access. It's a lot better than a broom. I don't sweep anymore. I'd rather use my Dirt Devil stick.

I've owned at 2 other lightweight "stick" vacs before made by other manufacturers. They are great for quick easy pickups. The Dirt Devil is so much better than any I owned previously.. I was pleasantly surprised at the suction output of this light easy to use vac It even picks up the kids' snacks that fall on the floor like popcorn, broken chips and peanuts. Amazing!!

i bought this an hour ago, put it together and ran it over the guest bathroom floor, worked for 5 minutes then got loud, hot, and stopped sucking. wont even pick up a hair. so angry.

Hey Lemonhope, we're here to help! It could be time to rinse out your filter. Remember to only rinse it with water and let it dry for 24 hours. If that does not help, we ask you to make sure the dirt inlet tube is not clogged. If it is, remove the nozzle and then remove the clog. This should increase your suction! This is a simple vacuum, ideal for tight spaces & flat floors. I gifted one to my daughter upon her new home, as it was entirely floored with hard surfaces! This gets the fine grit up, so you don't have to worry about the scratching of the surface. She was so happy with it, and surprised at how easy and simple to vacuum the flat surfaces. I needed one for hard surface flooring at the place I am living, and thought instantly of this simple, inexpensive vacuum. I purchased it online, and the next day it was at my door. Love it, love it, love it. It is the best product for preparing the floor prior to mopping, as the fine grit, the elusive hairs, and the dust are GONE!! Highly recommend. Not for carpets (it does an okay job for surface cleaning of carpets) but it is EXCELLENT for hard surfaces!
