I bought for my rv and used 3 times and it broke. You constantly have to stop in the middle of cleaning to empty and literally dust off the filter a million times. If you don't you will have a smoke cloud spit back out when you vacuum again. Will never buy another stick vac. Or bagless.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi LaurieMartin7! Normal maintenance of the filter and dirt cup are required to help keep a clear pathway for airflow to the motor for strong suction. We will be reaching out to you privately for further assistance in this matter. We look forward to hearing from you!
Knowing that I was starting out with a small 1-bedroom apartment, I wanted a vacuum that could do everything that I needed it to do without it taking up a ton of space. This vacuum is not only compact, but also very versatile. I can easily store it in my closet, use the had vacuum component to tackle spot messes, or attach the nozzle to get to difficult spaces. I also love how its very easy to clean, no huge dust bin to have to dump out every time.
this is the best stick vac on the market today.this will be my 2nd stick vac and the only reason the first one died was that im sure during the 10 yrs i owned it i overworked it for sure.the dollar value is second to none
I have the same Dirt Devil Stick Vac in my FL Condo & liked it so well that I bought this one for my primary home in KY. This small vac is so easy to move around for those of us senior citizens who have arthritic conditions. It is strong enough to pick up dirt & grime, then easy to empty dirt cup. It is versatile changing from a floor vac to a hand vac for furniture or curtains. I would recommend this for a great household utensil!
