I just purchased this and found that while the vacuum is relatively quiet and does the job well there are drawbacks. 1) The power unit is located down low, close to the intake, which must help with the strength of the suction, but it is awkward both to access the on/off switch and to clean. 2) The width of the power unit limits how far the vacuum can reach under furniture, such as a sofa. 3) Using it as a handheld may be awkward as well unless the extension is removed first.

I came to this site just to leave a review. I ordered one of these and could not believe how poorly it worked. I watched it roll over light pieces of paper, etc. and just leave them. Much rather spend more to have actual suction.

Hi Brad! The Simpli-Stik is designed for light & quick pick-ups. If your vacuum has lost suction try checking the nozzle inlet for clogs. Let us know if this helps!

The vacuum itself is very good. Powerful motor that picks up stuff easily. For the price, this is a very nice vacuum. BUT-you will have trouble getting replacement filters. Even Dirt Devil says it takes the F25 filter, but it does not. It takes the F113, which you CANNOT find-even Dirt Devil is backordered. I don't know how a company can screw up like this but seriously, try searching Google for Dirt Devil F113 replacement filter. Good luck. I bought 2 sets of F25 filters, thinking the supplier was sending me the wrong filter. Just be aware.

I have a new house with lamenant floors a 2 big dogs who shed a lot. This little thing is perfect for my floors with throw rugs around. It reaches in all the crevices and it's so light and easy I use it everyday. I dont need my Kirby much anymore at all!

In all honesty, I only bought this so my 3 year old would have his own vacuum to use while I was cleaning (toy vacuums just weren't doing it for him anymore). I bought it because it was cheap and lightweight, so I figured it would be perfect for him, even if it didn't actually clean that well. I was pleasantly surprised when it actually started picking up all the crumbs and cat hair with ease! It was also so easy for my 3 year old to operate on his own. So glad to have real help with cleaning the house now! He's ecstatic to have his own vacuum and be able to help me, and I'm ecstatic that it's not just toy taking up space, but rather a truly helpful tool. I'm impressed.
