Hi Lalasmiles! Your Simpli Stik Corded Stick Vacuum is made for quick in-between cleanings. If you've noticed a loss in suction this can be due to the filter needing to be cleaned or replaced. Please remove the F25 filter from inside the dirt cup and shake out any excess debris inside the trash can. We recommend replacing this filter every 6-12 months for optimum performance. The floor nozzle can be removed to check for any blockages, and ensure to empty the dirt cup after each use as well. We have a dog, 2 cats and a toddler grandson. I wanted something cheap, quick and light to clean up after the grandson and get the animal hair out of the crevices and corners of my house. This does that with no problems. Also, it's reach makes it easy to get cobwebs out of those hard to reach corners of your house. I have used the "vacuum" attachment for small messes on carpet and wood flooring and it works ok but doesn't pick up anything big, and the waste container is small and must be emptied often. However, this does exactly what I expected and wanted it to do and I'm happy with it.

I replaced another brand of stick vac with the Dirt Devil Simpli Stik...and could not have made a better choice! I have to vacuum daily with a very sandy yard and two large dogs. Usually most stick vacs start breaking in a month under these conditions. Not even a SIGN of breaking with this sweet vac! Also, I am mobility challenged and disabled, so I needed a lightweight versatile product. This guy more than fits the bill. Thanks, Dirt Devil!! :D
