Great little vacuum - second one like this I've owned. Other one had a broken cord after four years of constant use. Just wish it had a little more power for rugs.

This vacuum is light to carry from room to room & up & down stairs. I used to vacuum scatter rugs & steps with a hand vacuum. This required a lot of bending over & tired the hand & wrist. Now I use the Simpli Stik. The floor tool fits the steps perfectly & makes the task of vacuuming the steps much easier & faster. I recommend the Simpli Stick highly.

I used this vacuum about once a week for about 3 months. I tried to use it this week and the vacuum would not turn on at all. I took the whole thing apart and put it back together, tried different outlets, etc. The vacuum was decent and I was really hoping it would last longer. It also said I had a one-year warrant and of course the warranty expired last month, even though it was purchased in November.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi Bls30916, Oh no, that doesn't sound too good. We want to help. This sounds like something our service technicians may need to take a look at. Your model has a limited manufacturer's warranty that covers any manufacturing defects at no cost to you. In order for any warranty work to be completed, a copy of the receipt must be provided to the designated service center at time the product is taken in for service. Retailers may be able to reproduce a copy of your proof of purchase.
