SGS II has met my needs, performs great and the 4.3" screen is the perfect size. My only complaint is that I would like the US version to have a physical button as opposed to the soft buttons.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Unbelievable device, just what I am looking for, but yesterdays operating system. Returned to store...
My first Galaxy Note would keep turning itself off over and over within the first 26 days I owned it. Luckily AT&T swapped it for me. I had 4 days left to swap it.
If you're looking for a business tool, it really falls well short of the mark. Difficult to set up initially with Outlook running on an Exchange server. A touchscreen for me is a poor choice vs keyboard, was counciled by store it'd work fine. Not the case. A slider is a much better choice. Comes with a lot of toys (apps) which I'd lose just to unclutter the thing.
Pros: "pretty"
Cons: Did not meet expectations, poor business tool
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I expected more from a tablet/phone

Let me start this off with, I own a whole lot of Samsung devices and I really expected to use this for web design, photo editing, and usual web based tasks and I can't even stand holding it. This isn't a tablet, it's not even a plausable compromise. It's an oversized, overpriced piece of phone. It cramps my hands to hold, even for short periods of time. (one handed especially) Who needs a phone this big? Seriously? It's ridiculously huge for a phone that is a huge let down. Here's an idea, stop making huge wafers for a phone and keep that for computers only. And while you're at it, make the phone actually function like a computer does, with full functioning capability. Samsung, You're doing it wrong... Always.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, looks nice
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, laggy, gingerbread, poor sound quality, bloatware, expensive, battery door is loud and difficult, micro sd holds card too tightly
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whentrhing to turn the sound off for the emails it seems a little difficult and aggravating.
The phone was deliverd with a small scratch. The small scratch turned into a giant crack. Programs open and close without my command. The phone turns off and freezes frequently
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, Did not meet expectations, cheap
