Exactly what I expected

I had been looking forward to purchasing the Galaxy Note for quite some time. I delved through reviews from various websites reading the pros and cons. I went to stores and would hold it, put it in my pocket, play with it. In short, I made quite certain I wanted this phone before I bought it. I have to say that I do not regret my decision at all.
I love the size of the Note. I came from 3-4 years as an iPhone user and the size difference is amazing. With the larger screen, the note is so much better to read things on, to play games on, to text on.
It fits in all of my jeans pockets, but in a few pair it is an odd fit. I have a bluetooth earpiece paired with the phone, so if I'm wearing jeans that don't quite fit the note easily, I just stick it in a small purse instead. And for the size that it is, it's amazingly light.
The only real concern I see is the battery drains faster than I'd like it to. I knew this could be an issue and am now trying out different settings and apps to get the right mix to minimize battery loss.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight, large display area
Cons: battery life needs tweaked

Wow! I am very impressed. The capabilities of the phone are far beyond what I could have imagined. It works great with my Wi-Fi and 3G MicroCell ATT Tower at home. Call quality is awesome both at home and on the network.

It is a good product! i love the screen being big games and movies are gerat on it. only problem since i updated to ics4 it has been running slow! if i can fix that 5 stars all around

Probably not a great phone if you are just using it as a phone. That is unless you're a fan of bluetooth. But it really is a combination of a phone and a tablet. I do not need to carry around my kindle any more because I can read all of my books very clearly on the note. The picture quality is awesome for watching video.

i love this phone, hard to use at first coming from a windows phone but i love it wont go back to windows, and refuse iphones

I have had many a cell phone in my lifetime starting with the bag Motorola phone. I worked myself up to the flip phones( Really cool Bond type stuff) and eventually to Ye Ole Blackberry. However, until I touched an Android I was satisfied. Then I made the best move of my life and have become a believer in open source. This is my third Android device , and all I could say for the four months it actually took me to make up my mind was, "WOW". I loved the screen size from day one after seeing it ( even started looking for a case and some serious protection). I used to own a Palm Pilot, so the stylus was nothing new. But this software is Great! Overall.....I am Very Pleased!!!!!
