It really does work!

I had to replace my old dryer. There were many brands and models to choose from. Since I already had a Whirlpool Cabrio HE washer I leaned in that direction. It was the very best choice I could have made and I truly do like it.

I bought this matching washer & dryer set when my 18yr old dryer gave out. Naturally, I was dreading having to research all the current offerings, haggle with salesman and most of all incur the expense of replacing my machines. Happy with the Whirlpool machines I had purchased when I bought my home in 1998, I couldn't be happier with my choice now. They sit slightly higher for comfort, the washer has an open cavity making loading and unloading much easier and the selections on the control panels address every possible laundry scenario. The fact that they are more energy efficient doesn't hurt either!

I love this dryer. Its easy to use has so many different settings appropriate to the fabric for drying. And the steam feature is a drem to use, when my clothes go through the cycle there is little to no ironing necessary. The best purchase i've ever made.

Yes its a ENERGY saver but it doesn't dry cloths

We have had ours for a 6 months now and I have to agree with many about that it is well designed. It really is a ENERGY saver because it doesn't thoroughly dry your cloths. Due to the sensor on it it dries till its damp but NOT dry. We have to run a cycle over and over to bring our things to a complete dry. So does that save energy when you have to start it up several times on same load of cloths. I do not see that as a energy saver though. Another thing is the signal is not very loud, we wish there was a way to adjust that so we could hear it louder... it only has one set volume.

So far, so good. We had this dryer and a matching washer installed only 2 weeks ago. My wife is happy. She likes it much better than the Frigidaire dryer we had. I'll provide additional updates as time goes on.
