One year to the day of delivery of the dryer it required repair of a defective part. Our repairman indicated that he had not seen a crack at this location in the ignitor in his 41 years of appliance repair.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this dryer about 6 months ago and I absolutely love it. I am very happy we chose Whirlpool. Not only the product is great but so is the customer service.

It has been almost a month since I bought this dryer and so far I am very happy with the purchase. It does everything it suppose to do. I just debating if I still should buy the extended warranty for the future repair which I hope will never occur.

Easy access to retrieve clothes

I am so happy that I purchased this dryer. Due to my age, it is very easy to remove the clothes once dry due to the design of the door. I don't use the steam option that it comes with. Can't really comment on that part of the dryer.

I purchased this dryer a little over a month ago. I am very pleased with how little time it takes to dry my clothing now! The design of the dryer is also very nice and sleek.

Steam setting is great

So far so good! Bought this a month ago and the steam setting has been awesome on my husband's dress shirts. I can't say much for longevity yet (which is very important to me), so fingers crossed!
