I LOVE IT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this quesadilla maker because I love Quesadillas but I am not good at making them in a skillet or anything like that. I wasn't really sure, if having one of these would make it more easier, or if it would be complicated as some appliances are. This without a doubt, has to be one of the easiest kitchen appliances ever to operate.
Literally, I chopped up some chicken breast and cooked them in a skillet (although for future reference, I now know to shred the chicken instead of using chunks or cubes of chicken breast), then I sauteed some fresh chopped onions and bell peppers, plugged in the Quesadilla maker and waited for the light to tell me it was ready, then... I laid one tortilla on the bottom plate of the quesadilla maker, topped it with chicken, onions, bell pepper and shredded cheese, then placed the other tortilla on top of that, closed the lid, let it cook for like 4-5 minutes and then it was done and was perfectly cooked.
When it was finished, I used tongs to grip the edge of the quesadilla and pull it onto my plate. Then I used a pizza cutter to cut it into triangles. After that, all I had to do was sit and enjoy it.
The only issue I had with this was that it says not to unplug it unless the green light is off, but the green light kept coming back on frequently enough that I had trouble catching it when the light was off. Other than that, this is seriously one if the easiest appliances to use and I am so happy that I can now enjoy quesadillas any time I want.
Another thing that I absolutely love about this is that when you are not using it, it stands upright for easy and more compact storage. I am always needing things that do not take up much space in my kitchen; so this is definitely a blessing. I would definitely reccomend this to anyone I know.

Great Quesadilla Maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this and have already used it several times. It makes a quesadilla in just minutes. However if you use more than just cheese you will have to cut the ingredients into minute pieces and even still the lid won't close completely. It still worked and made tasty snacks. The tortilla gets nice and brown on bottom more than the top. I suggest leaving about 1 inch around the edge of the tortilla for room for the ingredients to spread while cooking. Love the jalapeno handle!

Quick and Easy !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Elite Gourmet 8" Quesadilla Maker is one of my favorite kitchen appliances ! Its very easy to use and my quesadillas turned out perfectly , just plug it in and wait for the green light to come on to signal the perfect cooking temperature. It even scores the lines in the tortilla to insure even slices. Clean up is a breeze , just wiped it down with a damp paper towel when it cooled off. Also included was a booklet with care instructions as well as recipes to get you started. I recommend this product , I think its something my whole family will enjoy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just opened my Elite Gourmet 8" Quesadilla Maker! Love it and easy to use. It reminds of the original grill cheese maker from the 80's except it is a red appliance with a pepper as the handle, very cute. It's as easy as plugging in the appliance and putting two tortillas with cheese, veggies, chicken or any food that you want between tortillas. You place the tortillas in and pressure cover down on it. it' cuts them into 6 individual slices: I'd say any pre-teenage and up could use this and make their own snack or meal. So easy! Also it's super to clean because it's non-stick. Also when you all done, when putting it away, it's stands upright, which is perfect for those that don't have tons of storage place! It you or your family loves to eat quesadilla especially "on the fly", this appliance is perfect for you!

Easy to use quesadilla maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a really easy to use quesadilla maker. It heats up pretty quickly and it cooks your quesadillas in about five minutes. It was relatively easy to clean and doesn’t require any initial set up. It is pretty big so if you have limited storage. You may only want to buy this if you make quesadillas often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nonstick on this is great! It makes cleanup much easier with a couple of paper towels. It heats up within minutes and is ready to use. Ad the tortillas. The toppings and press down, waiting 5 minutes or so before removing. I just wish there was a timer on this so I didn't have to set my own.

Clasp Concerns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elite Gourmet Nonstick Quesadilla Maker is a handy kitchen appliance, but I can't shake the feeling that the clasp might give out sooner rather than later. While it's versatile and distributes heat evenly, I worry about its long-term durability. Cleaning is relatively easy, which is a plus, but its size is a bit limiting for larger tortillas. Overall, it does the job well for now, but I'll be crossing my fingers every time I use it, hoping the clasp holds up. If durability concerns were addressed, it would be a solid 4-star product.
