Lasted longer than expected

This was a replacement for the Atmosphera Two which is not at all good for checked baggage, although I do like the carryon since it's bigger than most carryons and seems to be better built than the checked size. The handle of the replaced suitcase got stuck in the fully extended position and had to go through customs that way. It had disconnected inside the housing. When we took it to be repaired the shop apologized for not having parts to repair it and sent us this as its replacement, 7/10/15. I usually go through my checked luggage in two years because the Samsonite guerilla really is alive and well in checked luggage. I've watched them in action and they can be brutal. This suitcase will be going on its third year in October with only the rubber tires missing from the wheels, some zipper plackets missing along with their locks and replaced with rings and some superficial tears on the front pocket. So far the wheels are still working and there are no holes in the fabric. As long as the suitcase can still roll and keep everything inside and locked and keep its handle inside I'm fine.
Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Easy To Identify, Good Capacity, High Quality
Cons: 'Tires' peel off wheels, Zipper plackets knocked off by baggage handlers
I would recommend this to a friend!

wheels fell apart during 3rd trip

I purchased this bag in Sept 2015 and during my 3rd international trip (with multiple stops) one of the wheels began to tear apart. The wheels are described as "inline skate wheels" but they're really plastic wheels with a thin rubber coating. When the rubber coating falls off you need scissors or pliers to pull off the "tire" and then you have a plastic wheel which will roll (but not quietly). But soon after one wheel broke the same thing happened to the other wheel. I ended up dragging the suitcase a few blocks so there was a flat spot in the plastic wheel and it will never roll correctly again. I made a claim (#001444309) since this bag has a 10 year warranty but was not told whether or not wheels are covered. I had to take it to the repair facility (20 miles away) and have them tell me it's "wear and tear" and that the 10 year warranty only covers "manufacturing defects". I realize this is a budget bag for occasional travel (which fits my needs) but I hoping 1) it would last longer than 3 trips, and 2) the warranty would be good for something.
Pros: Easy To Identify, Good Capacity
Cons: Poor Quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
