You can't get replacement cutters and screens.

I purchased the 350-cc system but can not find replacement cutters and screens anywhere, including on-line from Braun itself.
I will have to change brands where they do more than sell just the original.

Does not shave close like I thought it would.

I just bought this shaver about two months and it still does not shave me close like it should. I had it to long to take it back and get a different shaver that will shave me closer than this one.

Works ok, but not the best as it leaves behind hairs.. Also the trimmer breaks if you aren't careful.. Don't see where people have been having trouble finding replacement heads either.. Must not be looking hard at all as I can easily find them at target..

Mixed bag.

A mixed bag. I just accept the fact that I won't get a great, close shave with an electric, but I cut myself with a razor and now that I'm on a blood thinner that's out. The Series 3 is the best electric I've owned, and even with my hard to shave face it does a pretty good job, Do not like the cleaning system though. Unreliable and half the time leaves a funky smell in the shaver. Nasty to change out as well. And, as others have noted, it takes up a lot of room.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Overstated features

Yes this shaver is not the most expensive of the line,(Series3) but I at least expected to get a good shave from it. Too many times there were whiskers left behind, and the cleaning system, while seems like a good idea, has too many problems. First the manual that came with it leaves the impression that all the units dry after cleaning, but if you will look at the other shavers on the website, only the most expensive shavers will dry themselves after cleaning. Mine stays wet for over 24 hours. So with paying over $140.00 for this unit, it should at least do what the manual says. If you are considering buying a Braun shaver system, please read all the info. on all the shavers, or you will get stuck with one you are not happy with. Good Luck!
