I absolutely loved the Note 3 when I first got it... that ended VERY QUICKLY!!!
I've had the galaxy Note 3 for about 4 months now and I'm fixing to order my 4th one... The first one cracked the day I got it... I had it in my pocket and sat down. cracked screen. The second one I dropped from about 3 feet off the ground and it cracked. The third I accidentally left in a cart at Wal-Mart (I didn't want to put it in my pocket for fear it would crack). When I went back to get it it was already taken... the app that's supposed to locate it gave me a location for the phone 10 days prior... what good is that?
In short, the phone is too big and way too sensitive... you can't put it in your pocket or the tiniest little pressure will cause the screen to crack... and when this screen cracks the whole display turns black... you see NOTHING. I had the Galaxy s3 prior and that phone was durable... I dropped it all the time with no problems at all... and I kept it in my back pocket and sat on it all the time... again, no problems.
Cons: Poor quality, Too big, sensitive. breaks too easily
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I use the note 3 for all my Internet and well anyrhing i could use a computer or pen and paper for. It plays movies excellent, plays games great, allows me to write or draw wherever or whenever I want.
Only thing i could ask for is water resistant coating for it. I do have mobile signal issues but where i live etc play a large role in this so I can't blame samsung.
Wanted one of these phones since the original and so glad i was able to get the note 3.
I wish there was a built in way to remove apps i didn't want or install.

As for price well this isn't a poor mans phone and it would be nice to lower the prices or an easy payment plan for direct sales.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Lightweight, easy to mod the software and easy to fix.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Well they took away some personalizing capabilities.
It's lighter than the old one but worse with calibration, I mean touch sensitivity. The pen can do a little more than before and screen rotation better. However I have noticed with these Samsung phones that it changes people's ring tones and notification sounds whenever it feels like it. The batteries are the same think they need to invest in a better longer lasting battery especially since whatever cheap material they are creating the power supply to go into it always seems 2 get messed up as well as the awful chargers the chords 2 them seem 2 just stop working . TThere's a notification sound that keeps randomly going off yet there is no notification anywhere. Going 2 have 2 hard reset phone.

Everything is great about this phone except the build quality. This phone feels cheap and it really is made out of cheap plastics. There is no way this phone will last more then 18 months because it will simply fall apart.

I have been a samsung lover for a while now! I want all of their products. I have a samsung 60 inch smart T.V a galaxy tablet, as well! Great products they all are great to own!! I love the washer and dryer works faster and you can wash more loads timing is even better!

the good and bad

right off the bat the screen broke fell hip height. the charger plugin quit working . fell in water 2-3 seconds and died . don't like the text features to many times instead of texting it calls someone : text and call symbols are right together. the text letters/numbers are to small you hit the wrong charactors all the time. the video quality is good though and the screen is big which makes easyer to see stuff . You cannot see the display in the sunlight which all phones are like that? the phone needs improvement . accessing things is easier than the samsung galaxy 5 but the 5 is waterproof and shatterproof which puts this phone at a disadvantage. it is really snappy fast on the internet compared to other phones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, fast loading websites, nice video quality
Cons: Poor quality, not waterproof, not shatterproof, the text charactors to small, when you hit text it hits the call icon to much, you have to buy a waterproof /shatterproof case, battery goes dead within hours
